Spearhead Lacrosse's partnership with Adrenaline through the South East Starz has already paid massive dividends for the Class of 2029. Spearhead 29 Elite Members Oliver Sutsko, Zach Hurmickhouse, Cole Forrest, Matthew Akers, and Trippton Kupfer have been selected to join the SES 2029 national team! Each of these players bring a lot to the table:

Oliver Sutsko (Providence High School) has elite speed and size, shooting on the run ability, and he's a threat in transition any time the ball is in his stick. He also has incredibly high lacrosse IQ for his age and knows how to create for his teammates; not just himself.

Zach Hurmickhouse (Cannon School) is incredibly crafty off the face-off wings, throws great checks, makes sound decisions with the ball in the clear, and can win his 1v1 matchup anywhere on the field. His versatility is going to get him recognition over the next 18 to 24 months.

Cole Forrest (Butler High School) brings elite play in transition, crafty dodges, and elite island shooting to the table. He also holds is own on the defensive side of the ball and is known for generating "juice" goals that get the whole team pumped.

Tripp Kupfer (South Lake Christian) has competed against some of the best face-off guys in the country at the I-95 Cup and the FOA National event. Not only can he win the clamp and get the ball out quick, but he's also a threat to score every time he comes down with a win.

Matthew Akers (Mauldin High School) is a rangy, left-handed LSM, with elite speed and physicality on the ball. He has a non-stop motor, doesn't seem to get tired and rarely comes off the field. When paired with his elite slide recognition and his ability to "arrive with a purpose" he's going to be on a lot of college coaches radars when the time comes.

These 5 players mark the first "wave" of Spearhead Lacrosse players to earn a spot on the South East Starz with Adrenaline. 7 other players from different grad years have also made an SES roster. The South East Starz will play two events in Fall 2026 and two events in Summer 2027:

These young men will have a chance to represent Charlotte in some of the biggest events in the country. We can't wait to see what they accomplish! Spearhead Lacrosse is proud of our affiliation with Adrenaline Lacrosse through the South East Starz and we look forward to providing an elite national team opportunity for the Charlotte lacrosse community.
