Spearhead Lacrosse Partners Up with Adrenaline Lacrosse-South East Starz
South East Starz will combine the best players from NC, SC, GA, Florida, and Alabama. What does this mean for Charlotte players that participate in Spearhead?

Today, Spearhead Lacrosse made a VERY important decision regarding the future of the club: to pair up with Adrenaline Lacrosse and the South East Starz National Team.
In today's club lacrosse scene, clubs need to have connections at the national level. Connections that allow for the top talent in their programs to advance/progress and compete on a national level. Not only does this help top tier talent get exposure to greater competition and recruiting opportunities, but it also helps players get access to events they normally wouldn't get it into playing for a regional team.
For example, take events like the Terps Classic, Platinum Cup, NAL, NLF and Alliance. It's nearly impossible for a regional club to just "walk up and register". You have to have a proven track record against top tier talent. If you don't, you could be walking into games that end up as 19-0 losses in front of all the college coaches and other clubs at the event. It can really hurt your club and the confidence of your players/families...assuming you can even get in.
That's where pairing up with a national team comes in. Not only do these bigger corporations have access to more resources, funding/capital, and team history, but some of them even own the events. By partnering up with the "big dogs", the players that are talented enough to make those rosters benefit, and ultimately it increases the credibility of your club by creating a pipeline for those with big aspirations for the next level.
This is EXACTLY why Spearhead teamed up with Adrenaline and the South East Starz. As we continue to grow as a club in Charlotte, it's important to provide opportunities for our players that have the skillset and desire to play at the national level. No complicated equity exchanges, no overpromising/under delivery. Simply creating opportunity for our players talented enough to play at that level.
So...Why Adrenaline?
Adrenaline has a very well documented track record with employee and club retention and a great vision for the South East Starz team. After vetting out a couple of other options, I felt like Adrenaline was the best option for our players, clubs, coaches, and families.
South East Starz has some incredibly reputable coaches/directors heading up the project.

Financial stability/backing and the resources required to make a splash in a saturated market.
All of their coaches are current NCAA college coaches.
A proven track record of commitments; most evidenced by their West Coast Starz teams.

This move is going to create a lot of opportunity for players all over the Southeast, and all over Charlotte, NC. I'm incredibly excited and proud to be a part of it and can't wait to see what it brings!
